# Contact

_Bug reports and corrections are always welcome, particularly for devices and browsers we have not been able to test on._

Email us

[contact@test-webcamp.com](mailto:contact@test-webcamp.com)

We read everything. We cannot promise an individual reply to every message, but bug reports are always looked at.

## Reporting a problem with a test

Device faults are much easier to reproduce with a few details. If you can include the following, it helps a lot:

- Your browser and version, for example Chrome 141 or Safari 18.2
- Your operating system, for example Windows 11 or macOS 15
- The camera, microphone or headset make and model
- What you expected to happen and what happened instead
- Any message shown under the video, copied exactly

[Open a pre-filled bug report email](mailto:contact@test-webcamp.com?subject=Bug%20report%20%E2%80%94%20test-webcamp.com&body=Browser%20and%20version%3A%0AOperating%20system%3A%0ADevice%20make%20and%20model%3A%0AWhat%20I%20expected%3A%0AWhat%20happened%20instead%3A%0AMessage%20shown%3A%0A), or write to us normally.

**Please do not send screenshots of your camera feed.** We do not need to see you, and we would rather you did not send images of yourself to a stranger over email. A description of the fault is more useful.

## Corrections

Software changes constantly, and a menu path that was right when written can quietly go out of date. If a step in one of our guides no longer matches what you see, tell us which page and what you actually found. Those messages are the most useful ones we get.

## Privacy and legal requests

For anything relating to data protection, use the same address and mention it in the subject line. Our [privacy policy](https://www.test-webcamp.com/privacy.html) explains what we hold, which is very little, and the [terms of use](https://www.test-webcamp.com/terms.html) cover the rest.

## Before you write

Every page on the site is listed on the [site index](https://www.test-webcamp.com/sitemap.html). Many questions are already answered on the [FAQ page](https://www.test-webcamp.com/faq.html), and the troubleshooting guides cover the most common device problems step by step. If your camera works on our [webcam test](https://www.test-webcamp.com/) but not in a specific app, the guide for that app is usually the fastest route.
